Sir Ian Mckellen

Sir Ian Mckellen is a British actor of cinema and theater. He has performed from works of Shakespeare, to characters of fatasia and science fiction, such as Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings or Magneto in X-men. His work led him to be knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1991.

In addition, in 1998 he openly recognized his homosexuality, beginning to be a recognized activist by the rights of the homosexuals, being co-founder of the organization LGBT Stonewall.

I admire Ian Mckellen for his artwork, because I love how he manages to deliver a different essence to each character, making the viewer connect with him.

The last film I saw of him was "Mr Holmes", where it represented the classic personage of police novels but in its stage of old age. I admit that I was even moved to tears, his performance is just perfect.

Finally, I love that  fearlessly defend the rights of the LGBT community, since the world needs people who raise their voices to defend what is right.
